About Scott:
Born and raised in Wichita, Kan., Scott and his wife, Jill, and their two children, Chase and Paige, now live in Derby, Kan. Scott began racing in what was then called the Thumper division in 1991 at 81 Speedway.
A few years in that division was all it took for Scott to get hooked. He quickly moved in to the Modified division, which he is still competing in. The journey has been a fun one and a rewarding one as Scott has won multiple track championships in and around Kansas, and has competed successfully in the NCRA Modified Series, finishing in the top-10 in points for the last several consecutive years.
The 2007 racing season saw Scott and the team follow the O'Reilly USMTS (United States Modified Touring Series), where he gained even more experience traveling across the entire country with the "best of the best" in the modified division. Scott earned the honors of Rookie of the Year with USMTS in 2007.
Scott credits his family and crew for the opportunity to do what he loves to do, and Ed and Cinde Gressel for giving him the tremendous support to do this night in and night out ... none of this would be possible without them!
